Making a Purchase

Once you have decided on which items you wish to purchase, place them in the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click "View Cart" and then click "Checkout".

We accept personal cheque, PayPal, Master Card, Visa, Visa Electron, Maestro, Solo. (Please note that cheques/PayPal ECheques must wait for clearance).

If you prefer not to pay on line, you may wish to place your order with us by phone/on-line by selecting the "Personal Cheque" option on the payment method step of the checkout. A cheque should be sent in the post to 2 Firs Park Avenue, London, N21 2PT (please make cheques payable to Knitty Bitz). We will process your order as soon as your cheque has cleared.

Delivery Schedule/Shipping and Handling

If your order is in stock, we aim to dispatch it within 1 working day (Monday to Friday). Please allow up to 28 days for delivery.

In the event of non-delivery please inform us by e-mail or telephone between the hours of 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday and we will immediately look into the matter.

UK parcels are sent either by Royal Mail or other parcel delivery company depending on the size of the parcel.

All orders that qualify for free shipping to the UK are sent via Royal Mail Standard Parcels or other parcel delivery company (3-5 working days).

A delivery charge will be added to the value of your order.

We will not be responsible for non-delivery of items due to incorrect details provided by the customer.

Delivery Charges:

The cost for postage and packaging is based on the weight of the goods in your shopping basket and the delivery destination.  You can check what the amount will be on the shopping basket page.

Shipping to Europe:

Europe parcels are sent by Royal Mail Airmail.

We are unable to ship orders to Europe weighing over 1.9kg

Shipping to USA, Australia & New Zealand:

USA, Australia & New Zealand parcels are sent by Royal Mail Airmail.

We are unable to ship orders to USA, Australia & New Zealand weighing over 1.9kg

Note: The weight shown for balls of wool is the net weight of the wool and the actual weight is slighty higher due to packaging.

Back Orders

If the item you order is not in stock but expected shortly we will back order for you, otherwise the item out of stock will follow your main order as soon as possible.

We will notify you by e-mail or telephone if there is a delay or we are unable to deliver your order.

Returns Policy

Should you be unhappy with your purchase, in line with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 you can return the goods to us in a complete, unused and perfect condition and in their original packaging within 14 days of receipt for a full refund.

However, the purchaser will be responsible for the cost of the return postage. We would therefore recommend that returns are sent by Recorded Delivery as we cannot accept responsibility should they go missing.

All queries and complaints will be dealt with speedily and professionally.

Guarantee

We take every care to ensure that the description and specification of the products featured in our shop/brochure are correct at the time of going to press. However, whilst we do our best to ensure that colour reproduction of our products is a close representation, we cannot accept responsibility for any variation in colour caused by the browser software or computer system used by you, or lost in the print process.

Privacy

We do not store credit card details, nor do we share customer details with any third parties.

Cookies are used on our shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item and to store your details if you select the "Remember Me" option.

The data collected by this site is used to:-

• Take and fulfill customer orders.
• Administer and enhance the site and service.
• Only disclose information to third parties for the delivery of goods.

Note:  When entering credit card details, ensure that you are connected securely by checking your browser for the padlock symbol.

Nothing in the above conditions affects your statutory rights as a customer.
